is pleased to announce that
Girls Circle has come to Venango County

Girls Circle is a nationally recognized, promising practice program dedicated to the youth
of our community. In an effort to build resiliency and strengthen the self-esteem of today’s
youth, Girl’s Circle has developed a program in which a safe place is created for the
exploration of the issues of the day. Those issues may include effective communication
skills, developing healthy relationships and having healthy self-esteem and a positive
body image. All these and more are crucial for our young people to grow into healthy
adults capable of making wise choices and contributing to the community.  In addition to
Girl’s Circle there is the Boy’s Council counterpart geared toward helping equip the young
men of the community make the transition into adulthood a smooth one.
