Heart 2 Heart is pleased to announce the appointment of a new
Executive Director – Ladona Strouse.
Ladona comes to us with an abundance of qualifications. Some of which
include receiving a Masters Degree in Rehabilitative Science; a Bachelors
Degree in Liberal Studies with a Concentration in Education; Associates
Degrees in Early Childhood Education and in Rehabilitative Services.
Some of her previous work includes: working with Heart 2 Heart for
over four years; being an RSA at Polk Center for over five years; being the
Program Manager for Venango County CASA Program for two years;
being a Teacher for Head Start for over ten years; and being a Program
Specialist at Venango Training & Development Center for over a year.
Having three biological children, four step-children and several
grandchildren she is versed in not only parenting, and education related
issues but also in working within the Mental Health System as a parent /
grandparent of special needs children. She has also been a provider of
kinship care for her godson for over a year.
Ladona currently serves / holds positions on many boards and
committees in our community. Some of those include: Junior
Achievement of Venango County – Vice President; Family Group Decision
Making Advisory Board Member; Connections Advisory Board Member;
Venango Kid Connections Member; and a Focus On Our Future
Collaborative Board Member.
